Lauren McCarty serves as the Development Officer, Major Gifts. In her role, she is responsible for ensuring donors feel supported and appreciated, while helping to drive continued growth in fundraising efforts. Known for her relationship-building skills and over 20 years of experience in strategic marketing, partnerships, and communications, Lauren brings a proven track record of developing programs that deliver meaningful impact.

For the past seven years, Lauren has been a dedicated volunteer with Lucky Dog —a commitment that recently deepened when she chose to join the organization full time. Her decision was driven by a deep belief in Lucky Dog’s daily impact and the opportunity to align her professional strengths with a cause close to her heart.

At home, Lauren is surrounded by her four beloved rescue pets: Deer, a Lucky Dog, and three cats—Frank, Goldie, and Charlie, a Lucky Kitty. Her work is fueled by a combination of professional expertise and personal passion, and she is proud to contribute to an organization whose mission she truly believes in.
