Florence, SC (February 24th, 2026) — Lucky Dog Animal Rescue is proud to share an incredible milestone: they have spayed & neutered 6,300 dogs and cats since the 2023 opening of their South Carolina Rescue Campus in Florence. This announcement coincides with the arrival of World Spay Day on February 24, 2026, a day bringing attention to spaying or neutering companion animals as a proven means of lifesaving by reducing overpopulation and eliminating the need for euthanasia.
