Brenden Hoehn
Brenden Hoehn is the Foster Coordinator at Lucky Dog Animal Rescue. In this role, he has the job of ensuring that all of our amazing Lucky Dogs and Cats have a soft spot to land in the DMV, by connecting our wonderful volunteer fosters with the animals that they help to save.
Prior to joining Lucky Dog, Brenden worked in politics, overseeing statewide campaigns all across the country. He grew up in Minnesota, graduating with his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. Since then, he has spent a lot of time on the road. It was on that journey that he met his dog Loki, who he rescued in Detroit where he had been found as a stray.
Brenden fell in love with the animal welfare world after that, and decided to make a career out of that passion. Now permanently located in the DMV, he is focused on making sure that every Lucky Dog has the opportunity to find a safe, happy, forever home like the one he was able to provide for Loki.
