Raunak Ghawghawe

Raunak Ghawghawe is the Data Analyst at Lucky Dog Animal Rescue. He graduated from the business school at UMD. Before joining Lucky Dog, Raunak worked in the corporate sector for three years. He is now responsible for ensuring Lucky Dog's data is organized, accurate, and accessible.

Growing up in India, Raunak witnessed the harsh reality that strays face daily. He believes that the more helpless a creature, the more entitled it is to protection by man from the cruelty of man.

Over the years, Raunak has taken on leadership roles in various non-profits such as AIESEC, Teach for India, and Save Our Strays. He found Lucky Dog thanks to a friend who adopted their Chihuahua mix, Tommy, from Lucky Dog. Raunak is excited to use data to make a real difference in the lives of animals and the people who love them. His career goal is to work as a tech consultant, especially in the non-profit sector.
